Tiger Families
With the school year in full swing, it's been wonderful to connect with you as we support our students. At the same time, our district has been hard at work developing initial concepts for long-term facilities planning.
Last month, the Community Action Committee met for the third time to review and provide input on the concept options. These concepts were also presented to the Nevis School Board at their Sept. 23 meeting, which is recapped in a recent article from the Park Rapids Enterprise.
As we move forward, our school board and administration will continue to assess these options and their associated costs. Importantly, we want to ensure you and the broader community actively engage in this process. Soon, we’ll be hosting an open house where you, your family, and your neighbors can review the concepts, ask questions, and share your thoughts. Keep an eye out for more information in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, I invite you to visit NevisForward.org to explore our progress so far and see what’s next in the facilities planning process. Looking ahead, our goal is to present a referendum for residents to vote on in the spring of 2025.
Thank you for your continued support and valuable insights. Together, we are shaping the future of our schools, and your input makes all the difference.
