Preliminary referendum election results are in and district voters have rejected the $41.55 million referendum, pending certification of the results on April 14th.

Dear Tiger Families,
With an unofficial count of 286 yes's and 988 no's, district voters have rejected the $41.55 million bond referendum to renovate and expand our school facilities.
While this is not the outcome we had hoped for, our commitment to Nevis students and their future remains strong. Our school has served generations of learners, and the school board and administration will continue working closely with teachers, staff, parents, and residents to ensure it remains a place of excellence for years to come.
Thank you to everyone who voted and participated in the facilities planning process. Through this referendum, we heard that folks believe that we have needs in our district. Moving forward, we will work to re-engage with the community to understand what the right solutions are.
