Friday, August 9, 2013 from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Nevis Public School located on Pleasant Street. Enter through door #2 or #3.

Saturday, August 10, 2013 from 6:00 a.m. to
7:45 a.m. at the pavilion at the public beach

Rules & Regulations

• Pickle Events Management will provide race results including race splits
• Wet suits are permitted
• Swim caps are furnished and are required. Personal swim caps are not allowed.
• Fins, snorkels and life preservers are not permitted.
• Helmets are required
• No outside assistance
• No drafting: each bicycle has an imaginary box two meters wide and seven meters long. You have 15 seconds to travel through another’s space when passing.
• Transition area: No glass. No pets. All participants must return their bicycle to designated corral. Only race participants will be allowed to pick up bicycles.
• Individual race participant substitutions/transfers will not be allowed after June 30th. In addition, (1) Race directors must be notified if substitution/transfer is made for transfer to be official. (2) There are NO REFUNDS. Participant must collect entry fee from new participant. (3) Individuals involved with an unofficial transfer of a race number may be denied entry into future Northwoods Triathlon races.
• Team member substitutions are allowed through race day. However, race directors must be notified of the change prior to the race and at least one of the original team members must still participate on the team on race day. If race directors are not notified as required, course records and 1st place finishes may not be recognized.
• No dogs allowed on course
• Race directors reserve the right to make race course changes as needed.
• Race directors reserve the right to cancel the event, without refunds, due to dangerous weather conditions
• Show good sportsmanship and have fun
